I recall the days either of us had to go home every month to collect our 2k or 2500 monthly allowi. 
Bros always didn't waste time in spending all his share with his friends. They did it turn by turn according to the months each person got his allowi. He once told me, ''Zee the money will finish either way". 
He was also sure that I would always have some beans and soup for him to fall back on. Not too many things bothered Murphy.
He was really a big brother on campus.
