Myles was born in Fulton County, Georgia, the son of Brenda Denton and Bennell Petty. He was raised by his beloved grandmother Mary Cagle, and aunt and uncle, Juanita and Larry McBurnett. From a very early age it was clear that young Myles would love adventure. He was always a sweet young man who had a happy-go-lucky disposition, and was a popular former student of Heard County High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family was very important to him, and he was always close and loyal to his brother, Curtis, and three sisters, Pyper, Lisa, and Ashley. He felt his life really began when he became a husband and father to his precious wife, Jessica and son, Rylan. He was a Christian by faith, and employed by wal-mart.com in Texas. He will long be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Jessica Denton; son, Rylan Denton; mother, Brenda Denton; father, Bennell Petty; foster father, Larry Mc Burnett (Daddy Larry), brother, Curtis Denton; three sisters, Ashley Denton, Lisa Miranda, and Pyper Johnson; nephew, Aiden Miranda, and several special aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by one very caring aunt, Juanita McBurnett (Mama Nee Nee) who contributed greatly to the lives of him and his brother and sisters.
