I used to date Myrna when she lived in Hayward and worked for HP. the story I would like to share is when we went fishing how patient and loving she was to my Son Kevin and would cook him the best Gumbo and fried fish in the world I will miss her forever and Kia and Candice I love you both...Ron Richardson

I remember the first time I saw Myrna (before we met) was at the stop and go (I think) around the corner from Ray’s apartment where he lived when he first moved back to Cali after his time in the service.  As I was leaving the store, I saw a bumper sticker on her car (did not know it was her car at the time) – I don’t remember what it said exactly, (Ray, maybe you or Liz can chime in here) but it was enough for me to say to myself “oh, I’m not messing with her”. Driving back to Ray’s I notice that same car (what I thought) was following me. I’m saying to myself “dang, did I scratch that car or something”.

After meeting Myrna that night, I think that bumper sticker came with the car. It turns out that Myrna is one of the nicest people you would ever meet. She would tell you straight, she would make you laugh, she was caring, and she was a friend. Although I mostly saw Myrna when the gang would all get together, I will miss her as if I saw her every day.

I would like to express my condolences to her family – your Mother, Sister, Grandmother, cousin, is one of the best this world had to offer.  God Bless you and stay strong in his strength.
