Her Life
January 2, 2013

Mrs. Nan Campbell Price, 65, of Abanda, formerly of West Point, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at her residence.

Nan is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry Price; five children, three daughters, Jill of Roanoke, Randan of Oakland, Calif., and Madi Kate, two and a half-years old, of Abanda; two sons, Judson of Valley and Carson of Abanda; and one sister, Alisa Long of Atlanta.

Nan loved children and worked at Beulah High School as a library assistant for 10 years. She enjoyed every minute being with her peers and the students.

Most recently, Nan and Larry had been foster parents in Chambers County. She had never been happier living in the country, on the farm, with her family and her foster children.

She was born in Montgomery, Ala., on June 12, 1947 to Hugh and Nell Campbell. After graduating from Briarcliff High School, she attended Emory University in the fall of 1965. Nan met Larry Price from West Point and two years later, they were married and moved to West Point.

Nan will be missed by her family and friends but is now in her eternal home with her heavenly father. The family would like to thank LaGrange Hospice, Chattahoochee Hospice for their loving care, spiritual support and kindness to Nan over the last four weeks of her life.
