Nellda Munn Ball, 89, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away peacefully at her home on December 22, 2015 surrounded by her love ones.
A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Leonard Munn and Mammie Blackley Munn. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church and retired from Murdoch Center.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church by Rev. Don Owen. Entombment will follow at the church cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Ball of the home, a son, Howard Ball, two grandchildren, a sister, Luna Dell Rigsbee of Durham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Graham Howard Ball, a son, Walter Lee Ball, and a brother, William D. Munn, Sr.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 12:30-2:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and at other times, at the home.

I was very sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I went to Wilton School with Walter and remember coming over to spend the night when I was around 10-12 years of age. I remember your mom being a very nice and sweet lady. Please know that you and your family will be i my thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead.
