Dear Nesla : Come back. Even as a shadow, even as a dream. Be with us forever

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, NGORAN LEYNYUY, 20, born on January 2, 1994 and passed away on January 12, 2014. We will remember her forever.

Ngoran Nesla Leynyuy was born on Jan 2nd, 1994. The 3rd of four children  born to Tendeka Winifred and late Ngoran Paul Suiyeh(Died 2003). The baby Nesla came to us not only as a bundle of joy ; but she equally established herself as the only queen of the house. As an unique child, she was born with beautiful birth-marks from her head to toes of her feet.

She would begin her Primary education at Sacred Heart Fiango Group 2 at the age of 3. Nesla was a smart, quiet and gentle-spirited pupil. She would later complete her primary education in 2005 obtaining her F.S.L.C and Government Common Entrance.

She then enrolled the same year at Cameroon College of Arts and Science (CCAS Kumba) until Form 4 when she moved to Diligent Bilingual Academy and obtained 4 Subjects at the GCE Ordinary Levels. In 2012 she began complaining of what was then, a mild-headache. This officially marked the end of her GCE Campaign as she remained hospitalized throughout the remaining subjects. As a true fighter, she still passed in 2 Subjects.

Unfortunately, barely few days to the start of the 2012/2013 School Year, her mother Winifred Tendeka too ill . Nesla, selflessly sacrificed her education to cater for her sick mother. She would enrol at PYC evening school to better her grades at the GCE A’ Levels and ended up passing her 2 Subjects.

The determined Nesla went to Buea last October 2014 to study marketing at HIMS Buea. She returned home on December 24th, 2014 to send Xmas and New Year with her mother. She even cooked and even showed signs of liveliness throughout that day.

On December 31st, she started complaining of pain around her head leading up to her neck.  Her health would later deteriorate on Jan 3rd, and she travelled alongside her elder brother Leroy to Santa, to be with her grand-mother Ma Odilia. She was weak but showed signs of recovery. She would talk to the phone with family and friends throughout her stay in Santa, promising to return to Kumba on Wednesday 14th, 2015 to park her things and leave for Buea. Unfortunately, on the night breaking Monday 12th, 2015 at 5a.m, she woke up at 4a.m complaining of her neck and a mild headache. Her Grandma said opted to make breakfast for her while they both leave for the hospital at 5.30a.m. While in the kitchen, she overheard Nesla making an unusual sound from the room. When she asked, Leroy and Desmond (her cousin) said it was Nesla,  but not to worry, she does that often and always recovered few minutes later. This time, it would seem her last time.  They all rushed to the room and met her in pains and saw it that, she was giving up the ghost. Ma Odilia shouted for the boys to go fetch a taxi, as they got the hospital, the Doctor pronounced her dead by 5.30a.m

The 21 year old Ngoran Nesla, leaves behind her family, friends, and loved-ones to mourn her.
