I have many memories of my Dad, however the one that brings me great joy was seeing my Dad hold his first born granddaughter Caitlin for the very first time. The sheer proudness on his face when he gazed down at her while she slept peacefully in his arms. Caitlin and her Grandpa were thick as thieves throughout her life. The bond was unbreakable as Caitlin was born one day after her Grandpa.

I have a lot of  great memories from going to drilling rigs at a young age drifting pipe just being with my dad. Those day are special to me with dad cruising around eating chip chocolate bars and a cold pop checking rigs. Then dad bought trikes going Botha to visit grandma & grampa cruising around just having a great time. All those great quading trips to Fort assiniboine swan hills and other places around alberta. Ice fishing going grouse & deer hunting. It's not the same I've lost some ambition for these sports it's not the same without dad.All those fun great exciting awsome days are gone but are not forgotten in my memory and my heart.I regret 1 thing I never told dad I loved him
