Nick was a sensitive person, he developed a passion for computers early in his life and taught himself how to programme and develop games. As his Mum I could not understand the virtual world but he went on to develop games and looked forward to a bright future in I.T.  His company was called  Infra Internet Services and we know he was good at hacking which actually then developed his interest in internet security.  With the many skills he had he was held in high esteem, however his addiction which actually started early in his life, was firstly computers.
Nick valued his internet friends but due to his isolating and not working in the real world, he lacked confidence and started to drink to make him the person he wanted to be.  The addiction worsened and despite many hospital emergency visits and being told this would kill him, he did not actually beleive this. Recently he told me he intended to live for another 30 years at least, if only that were the case.
