Her Life
July 19, 2016

Ms. Nikita Nicole Coleman-Cross "Kita Boo" of Galloway, NJ was tragically taken away on April 24, 2016 at Lourdes Medical Center, Burlington County, NJ at the age of 35. Kita was born on March 29, 1981 in Atlantic City, NJ to Glenda Coleman of Atlantic City, NJ and Kevin Ganges of Bordentown, NJ. She has two talented and smart children Ibirah Ineya Butts and Sherwood Abdul Cross Jr. both of Galloway, NJ. Kita attended the local Atlantic City Public School System. She successfully continued her education at Atlantic Cape Community College where she received her Associate Degree, and attended Richard Stockton College where she was just two weeks away from achieving a Bachelor Degree of Science n Sociology with the May Class of 2016. She was in Phi Alpha Honor Society, and constantly made the Dean-List and Honor Roll. Education was especially important to her and her striving to make her children and the rest of her family proud of all of her accomplishments. She was proudly employed at Caesars Casino and Hotel, for over 10 years as a cocktail waitress, as well as a secretary for the Atlantic City Housing Authority in Atlantic City, NJ. She also recently completed her Internship at Seashore Gardens of Galloway, NJ.; and was an active member of Local-54. She was very confident, motivated, and hardworking. Not to mention, an intelligent individual who was driven by ambition destined for Greatness. Kita instilled these same characteristics in her children and expected nothing less than amazing grades. Kita favorite color was blue, she had a smile of one in a million and her laugh was infectious, a bubbly personality and she loved to dance for fun. Her sisters even have her the stage name of "J.Lo" and "Sasha Fierce" on the dance floor. Kita was a classy lady and a fashionista never going out without her high heel shoes. Everyone who knew Kita knew she was an amazing mother to her children and wanted Greatness for everyone. Kita will be truly missed by many, forgotten by none, forever our guardian angel and always in our hearts.
