Her Life

Biography of our sleeping Angel.

June 8, 2012

Nnenna  Adaobi Ezenwekwe  was born on the 9th day of march 1973,  to  the family of Late. Chief Alphonsus and Beatrice Maduneme of Ihe  village, Ebenasa, Amichi  where She spent her early days and was known as nwa mara nma. Nwa chukwu kworo aka we kee ( a beautiful child that God washed his hands before creating).

She had her primary school education in Jos, Plateau state , Northern Nigeria where she graduated with the primary school leaving certificate and progressed to Federal Government Girls College Bauchi, Bauchi state for her secondary school education.  Whilst in FGGC Bauchi, she repeatedly  brought home the Neatest and most disciplined girl award yearly, which was not surprising to her parents as it was a tradition to bring their children up in the way of the Lord and to be socially fit in relating with people. Nne  graduated from secondary school in 1992 with the senior school leaving Certificate. The quest for the future continued as she enrolled for examinations and got admitted into the Federal Polytechnic , Oko   where she studied Banking and Finance.

She became an ardent member of Sisters fellowship International  at this time till death and had  a platform to express her heart in praise and dancing to God at all times,  which her daughter one day said  ‘My mum’s hobby is dancing and worshipping God at a quiz organised in a party’.

Being an adorable and beautiful lady also had matching characters that   past catching the attention of the ordinary eyes but rather captured the souls of many in wondering how beauty, brain and character could be locked up in just one person. In summary, she was everybody’s love, every man’s dream and envy of every woman.

It was in her prime that Nnenna  met and married her husband  amidst her suitors,  Mr  Emmanuel Ezenwekwe   of Nnobi town,in the year 1996 and the journey of life entered  another phase.  God blesses her with four beautiful children Kosisochukwu, Chidera, Somebi  and Kachi  respectively. To all that knew her, they can attest that there are women and there are mothers. Definition of home maker personified and an  Excellent manager with any resource that came her way. Nne was fondly called mother superior. She loved and reached out beyond her immediate family to her environs and those she didn’t even have a relationship with. On her lips were the laws of kindness. Her counsels were always s of peace as that was a legacy she lived for.

She worked with Havannah  Specialist Hospital, Surulere Lagos for some time and later stayed back home to nurture and take care of her children. When she deemed it fit to work again, she got another job though for not so long a time and  later resigned to pursue  her passion in business of fashion and clothing. She was a fashion icon, and could make royal robes from rags. A gift only heaven endows.

It was in course of doing her clothing business that she fell ill and the battle for survival started in February 2011. In the midst of this all, she never gave up on God’s love for once and worshipped amidst cries of pain. On June 1st 2012, the sun set at noon. She had planned a gallant thanksgiving service but today, here we here to still thank God for a life worth emulating in thanksgiving, but in her absence.

Nne, to live in the heart of those that love you, outside their feel is not to die, for each time you are remembered, you live again in our hearts. The orchestra has ended and you have taken your bow off the stage earth, transcending into glory to do what you know  best – worship. We love and miss you so much. Your legacies will always be amongst us, till we meet to part no more.

ADIEU NNE, MOTHER SUPERIOR AND REST TILL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE.
