Thank you for creating this site. I've had a hard time accepting that my Grandad is no longer with us. I'm in shock at his passing. I'm still trying to gather my thoughts so please bare with me. My Grandad and I became very close the past few years, if it weren't for Facebook and the connection we made through the internet I may have never known what an amazing man he was. I am so thankful we were able to build a strong relationship through our conversations. He was not only my family but my biggest fan. He was a voice of encouragement who always new what to say to cheer me up. Learning about his life and being able to share mine with his was a true blessing! We shared a love of swimming, art, music, our love of food and cooking. He had passion for everything he did and encouraged me to follow my passions. I may not have had the honor to live close enough to visit but his intence love of life was felt no matter how close I was.I miss him so much! I'm so thankful for the time we had together. I love you Grandad! Xoxox

Dear Brian, Daniel, and Spencer, We are so very sorry for great loss. We hope and know that memories of your father/grandfather will bring you comfort. Here's a couple of happy memories I have re: Tony.  During the first Christmas, after he and my mother got together, he made a very special attempt to make it a fun Christmas, knowing it was the first Christmas my sister and I had ever celebrated. I remember him making a train, with wheels made out of ladies' nylon packages for wheels, which encircled the Christmas tree. He also painted a Christmas mural manger scene. Next, I remember his amazingly delicious, light-as-a-feather, pancakes. In fact, they were so good, that I asked him for his recipe just a couple of years ago, which he happily shared via email.  Last, I was always so tickled when he emailed me photos of happy times the four of you experienced at his farm; picking produce, riding tractors, growing pumpkins, etc. He always very sweetly wanted to make sure I had recent photos of my nephews. He loved you guys immensely.
