Dad was born in Sydney N.S.W. He met my mother at a dance. They both loved dancing and won competitions. They married in October 1923. They moved to Brisbane Qld. in 1934. He worked as the Manager of a clothing store in Brisbane city until he retired at the age of 67. He lost his battle with cancer in 1985.
