"Chiseled in Stone"

January 4, 2015

"Chiseled in Stone & "you don't know lonely till its chiseled in stone" =  When I visit my brother's grave & look at his tomb rock these words take on a whole new meaning & could not be more truer! There are not enough words in this world, to explain the hurt & emptiness I feel in my heart after losing my brother: "you don't know lonely till its chiseled in stone"! RIP my precious brother - Norman! I love & miss you soooo much!

September 11, 2014

January 2, 2015

September 11, 2014 is the date this photo was taken. The reason the date is so important is because that's the day my cousin, Steve Anglin, was buried & Norman was a pall bearer. Now little did I know that a month later & to the day Oct 11, 2014 that I would get a phone call from Ashley, Norman's oldest daughter, that would forever change my life & the lives of the rest of our family! I had answered my phone expecting her to be calling to see if I was almost there because I was actually in my car & on my way to Norman's house to spend the weekend with him & her but little did I know that what she was about to tell me was going to change my life forever! To hear that my brother/my bestfriend was gone? what? no, couldn't be? From that day, that phone call my life has forever changed - completely!!!! As long as I live, I will never ever forget that phonecall, that day or what I was doing at the time of that call! It is forever etched in my mind!!!! RIP my brother/my bestfriend! Love your sis, Carol

Christmas 2013

January 2, 2015

This picture was taken Christmas 2013 at Norman's house. He loved the holidays so much! He always wanted all of us together for the holidays so Thanksgiving & Christmas 2013 we were all together celebrating! He was so excited & happy to have us all together at his house! If only I had known when this picture was taken that this was gonna be his last holiday on earth! I love & miss him so much & even though he wasn't physically here with us for the 2014 holidays I know he was spiritually cause I could feel him in my heart! Love you brother & until we meet again, love you forever & always your sis, Carol
