Happy birthday my darling friend, it's been almost 9 years without a call from you. It's been 9 years of you not testing your "I buy phone card" with my number, since it's the only international number you have off hand. Keep Besting In Bliss my brother. We still miss you dearest, and we will continue to miss you.

Olufemi mi o…
If only, if only the arms of the block could be turned. But who are we to do that?

I thought time healed… still fresh Femi. Still very fresh..

Despite the passage of years, your deeds and selfless kindness are still talked about dearie.

Your memories are so fresh it’s unreal. Your jokes and light mindedness are just beyond here Olufemi. Remember when you had your nose attended to in UCH. Though you were the visited, felt more like the other way round. You saw us off and made us all happy and at ease!

I can go on and on, but these are the memories cherished about you.

Happy birthday dearie. You remain forever in our dear hearts Olufemi.

Happy birthday dearie. I imagine how though it’s your birthday, but you are out and about helping others instead Olufemi.

I celebrate you even more as you continue to rest on on His capable and softer bosom dearie.

I’ll call a number and a song to the hosts of heavens, better singers than over here dearie.Tell them to spray some Naira on my behalf . Cheering for you here!
Rather than sadness, joy fills my soul remembering your very good self!

Pleasure knowing you my very dear friend.

Hey Babie,
Still can’t believe it’s been 8 years already. Ife and I were talking about your goofy carefree simple self yesterday.
You were one of a kind and I’m glad our paths crossed.
Ife wants to get a red velvet cake for your crazy cake sandwich… only you could have mixed up food like that to eat.
You’re loved and fondly remembered.
Rest on in The Lord darling.

Happy posthumous birthday Olufemi dearie!

I’m celebrating imagining your smile, your relaxed self probably not minding it’s your big day and just generally helping others instead Olufemi!

You are so so missed and borne in mind so strongly. But I also do realise that although we are heavens apart, God’s infinite loving kindness does bring us closer.

Keep resting in His blossom dearie.

Lots of love Femi.
Happy birthday!

Olufemi o!
Just like yesterday again Femi…
Still does not fail to grip my heart when I heard the news. Will forever wish it wasn’t true. Such gripping heart pain , even till now Femi.
Keep resting on the blossom of our Father. It’s still a stressful world down here , but I know you are in glory over there and this is our consolation.

I do tell the kids about you. Especially the last two you knew so well. May God continue to be with Kemi and the kids and be their midnight sun that fails not
Rest on glorious soul!

Till we meet again.

Didun didun Sha bayi ni irannti olododo Femi!

Happy 50th birthday dearie ! You willingly celebrated with others without looking back. You were such a great planner, such a reliable one at it too Femo. When it’s already in God’s hands , it’s in Femi’s next, with no shadow of doubt , you were such a ‘ computer finisher’ of a friend , unforgettable.

It continues to be very very painful Femi, but I continue to take solace in your usual saying , ‘take heart’ . You are forever on my mind , forever missed dearie. There is certainly a dearth of People like your soul Femi , so hard to find.

Wishing trees like yours lasted in the bush dearie , but you ran your race super fast , impacting so many lives despite your busy schedule.
I can go on and on dearie.
May God continue to grant your dearest , kemi and the kids the solace to keep bearing this toll we meet again dearie. Rest on great soul! Rest on☀️❤️

Olufemi mi o...
ever so fresh in the mind , painful but always remembered with great memories, none bitter Femi.

Watching the video shared in here and noticing you not only taking your own refreshments but appear to be enquiring from the gentleman sitting and the little kids if they had something to eat ...

That is the selfless you that I still know today Femo. How do I begin to forget such a positively impactful soul such as yours ; hard to find.

Continue to rest in the bosom of our God dearie. You are missed !

My darling Femi,
With a very heavy heart I start another memorial today for uncle Lawrence. Never imagined that. He was such a wonderful father and brother to me. The kids loved him so and we will miss him so dearly.
He was deeply pained about your passing and that stayed with him until he passed.
Until we meet again in the bosom of The Lord my dear... adieu

June 26, 2016
For the short time we knew you, you show-cased Christ Jesus. You were meek, gentle, loving, caring, you persevered, endured hardship (worked hard both in the vineyard and in business) and you were honest. we have no doubt, you are before the His throne enjoying the illumination and serenity of heaven. You obeyed and you were all He said we should be. You have gone to rest. All these tributes are therefore not for you but for us to learn and covet the good works you did. We may forget you in a while but the foot prints are all over. We shall see you when our time here is up be His grace. We pray that God will continually be the father of your children.

Mr Shabi,
Words cannot express my total shock at hearing such devastating news. My memories of your vibrancy, spirited energy, and humor can never be erased. You were so helpful to my dad when he visited me in Wilmington that I immediately saw you as a brother who became our destiny helper. Thank you so much for all you did, and may your legacy remain alive in your wife and kids. I know that our good Lord felt you could watch over your family and your friends in a better way from above. May your soul rest in peace.

Oh my goodness! I just heard about this and the only way I could confirm was to do a search on Google and it's sadly true! Femi was a colleague in University of Ibadan and also from my home town of Ijebu Igbo in Ogun State, Nigeria. Words fail me at this moment but I pray that God will comfort your family and indeed give you eternal rest.
I pray that your legacies will live on through your children and those you have shared the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with.

Wow..

It is still very hard to believe that Pastor Femi is gone. It is sad, but I know that he is resting. He was always busy helping people.

I'll miss the times Ms. Kemi and Pastor Femi would invite the church over to their house, "just because", sometimes it was no special occasion, it was just because he wanted to spend spend time with us. I appreciate that, He always made us feel like family. I'll miss when we all watched the football games on Sunday and yelling at the TV during the game when the teams were losing. Also, when we played UNO and he would get so upset when we double teamed him and put down "Draw Fours" and he'd be the only one left with a whole stack of cards. He always made us laugh when we came around.

I'm grateful for those moments. I'm thankful for him not giving up on my brother, for visiting him and praying with him. Pastor Femi taught me how to praise and worship God no matter what I was facing. He was a blessing always being there for my family. He will be missed.

Femi I never met you, though we talked a lot over the phone, it seem I had know you for ever. You made Christ ever real in all your conversation. I am persuaded that, that was a better way to die. The bible had told us that our days are numbered. And I still remember the day you told me that our day are number, so therefore, we should keep doing the work of our father, because we do not know when he will call us home. One more lesson I will not forget you thought me was not to stereotype people before I get to know them, because our God do not stereotype us. A gem is gone ! And for good, in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is left for us the living to keep the light burning till Jesus calls us home. My Brother Femi, Rest in Peace until we meet at Jesus feet. Amen!!! Gladys Nnadozie.

It is still very shocking that you have passed on to glory. You were the first of the Okusanya 2nd generation that I met in UI. You were gentle and very helpful.
I can only pray for your wife and children that The Lord Himself will comfort them. I pray also for strength for your beloved wife to continue the work that you both started and for God to give her the grace to see the children through to where they would be independent and do you both proud in Jesus' name. Amen

Adieu brother.
