Dr. Olufunke Lami Jibowu
Funke was born in Ibadan, Oyo state on April 20th, 1967 to Millicent (née Angulu) and Kayode Jibowu. She was an intelligent lady who loved God.
After completing her A levels in he UK, she decided to become a physician. She returned home and was accepted into the College of Medicine, University of Lagos to study Medicine.
After graduation, Funke chose a path that involved giving back directly to the underserved citizens of her country. She wanted to make Nigeria a better place
Jives (as we called her) applied for and was accepted into the Community Health Program in Lagos Univeristy Teaching Hospital where she completed a Residency.
Yearnng for more knowlege, Funke went on to attain a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Professionally, she chose to work for organizations whose goals and ideals aligned with hers....training and educating the Nigerian populace and continual,advocacy for communities across the country. Jives set out to and succeeded in making a difference in their lives and ours.
