My dad is the first son of his parents (it's still difficult to refer to him in the past tense). He is the second of five children - two brothers and two lovely sisters.

He was born and raised in the city of Ijebu-Ode in Nigeria.
   
My dad attended Sheikh Imam Amusa Basic Arabic School and St Saviours Aglican Primary School Ijebu-Ode as a youth and went on to Ijebu Muslim College where he completed his West African School Certificate (WASC) and Higher School Certificate (HSC).


Dad completed his Bachelor degree at the University of Ibadan, Masters degree at the Brunel University Uxbridge in the UK and PHD at the University of Jos - what an achievement.


He married my beautiful mum on November 2, 1967 and together they raised myself and my five amazing siblings.
