Otis Graham Yancey, 75, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at his home.

A native of Mecklenburg County, VA, the son of the late Walter Otis Yancey and Mary Sue Allgood. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Liggett Myers Tobacco Co. and S&D Machine and Tool.

Memorial services will be conducted Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Eddie Mauldin. Burial will be private.

Surviving are his wife of forty-two years, Gloria “June” Graham Yancey a daughter, Tara Yancey Hansen of Raeford, a son, Ronald Yancey of Johnson City, Tennessee, a brother Dale Yancey and wife Sandra, of Creedmoor and two granddaughters, Morgan and Ashlyn Ramsey of Stovall. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Yancey.

Visitation will be held Monday October 2, 2017 from 12:30-1:45 Eakes Funeral Home Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.
