Daddy was a one of a kind man. He was a Navy Veteran. He and my Mother 'Topsie' was married for 60 years. There were 5 of us kids..Richard, Linda, Donald, me and Earl. 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Daddy worked hard driving a truck to support his  family. There were times we would not see him for days.  Yet when we did, our time together was good.

This is my story with my Daddy. I worshipped him. He was the first man I ever loved. I know I caused him heartache, sleeplessness nights and a whole lot of worrying. Still his love was unconditional. He was always a phone call away when I needed him. He helped to raise my children, without him I don't know where we would be today..I always told him that someday that I would marry a man that was as good to me as he was and he lived long enough to see that happen.
