Bade was a 1995 alumnus of FCC Odogbolu. he finished from the Obafemi Awolowo University with a B.A. honours degree in vocal performance. whilst at  OAU he was the head of firm foundation, the choir of Christ love fellowship and helped to shape, train and encourage many musical destinies. He proceeded to the University of Pittsburgh in the United states in 2003 and bagged an M.A and PhD in ethnomusicology, studying under Akin Euba and also earned a graduate certificate in African studies. He was a choral scholar at St Andrew's episcopal church from 2009-2012. He became a visiting assistant professor of music at Williams College from 2012- 2013.

After ten years in the United sates, he returned back to Nigeria.

Until his death bade was an authority in fok and primitive music and had written and published various papers in his field.

He was also a tenor soloist having performed with various choirs in africa and in the US.

He founded Fela sowande sigers in the US in 2012 and on his return recruited for The fela Sowande singers also.

He handled the musical element at the  2013 Ake festival.

 

Before his death he was working with the University of Ibadan music department.

He will be sorely missed.
