This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Page Riddleberger, who died on April 30, 2015 at the age of 71. We will remember him forever.

We invite all who knew and loved Page to contribute to this memorial site. You can add your comments to the "Tributes" section below, or click on the "Stories" tab to provide longer memories about Page. If you have photos of Page you would like to share, please click on the "Galleries" tab to upload them.

For those who wish to make a donation in Page's honor:  Many of you know that Page loved to go to AA conventions in Ocean City.  He had requested that when he died, a memorial bench be placed on the Ocean City boardwalk in front of the hotel where he and other AA members stayed.  We are raising funds to provide this memorial bench in Page's honor.  Those who would like to contribute can get more information and make a donation at  http://gfwd.at/1IHaN9c.

UPDATE:

A celebration of Page's life will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard, Severna Park, MD.  A reception will follow.  A map and directions can be found at www.woodschurch.org/directions.

Hello dear. I'm wondering what's up, up there. I hope flowers and light abound. Oh yeah, and your music. We think of you a lot and still miss your one-of-a-kind personality and humor. And bumper stickers. Love forever.

I knew Page professionally for many years, through his good times and bad time he always was cooperative and very polite. I will always remember when he told me about meeting Nancy, his wife. He had such an inner glow when he spoke of her. He was a good man, and I miss him.

Thinking of you, Uncle Page! I just taught some friends to play Canasta and it brought back memories of our games, which were the best! Will always miss you but I cherish the memories.

Thinking of you dear Page! I will always miss you so much, but in some ways it feels like you are still with me. I do often wonder what you would be saying about our current political situation. I know you would have some choice words! ;-)

Miss you dad. You're missing a lot but I'm sure if there's a way, you're paying attention.

Willy just turned two. He's so much fun.
Anjelika graduated from college with a degree in child development and working in that field. You'd be just as proud of her as we are!
Nicole, well she's still making the facial expressions that use to make you laugh.
Orlando and I are getting older and have downsized again; this time to a cute townhouse. We still plan on retiring in Panama in a few years but the grandson comes first right now!

That's all. Love and miss you.

I knew Page for a good number of years professionally.  Never in all that time did he ever utter a contemptible word,  He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. My heart bleeds for Nancy - may she find comfort in the words of friends Page left behind. Rest in peace kind Sir.

Page was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. I always enjoyed talking with Page though it's been years. Whoever wrote the obituary made a worthy tribute to a true Annapolitian.

I've known Page since 1982. My mom was in AA in Annapolis and that's how I met Page. I doubt I've ever met anyone so kind and serene. I would go years without seeing him and he never forgot who I was. I saw him almost a year ago at a meeting - I'm sober these days, myself - and we talked like we always did. He told me about Nancy and asked about my kids. What a great guy. I'm sad to hear of his passing. Great guy.

I will miss you so much, my wonderful uncle. You were my rock, always there for me, whether it was supporting me when I was struggling, hanging out in the kitchen talking politics, laughing together, or playing fierce, take-no-prisoners games of canasta and chickenfoot. (And by the way, despite what my mom said below, you guys did NOT win the last canasta game. You were ahead but the game was not over yet. So remember, when it's my time I'm bringing the scorecard with me, and we will finish it up!)

I knew we'd never meet again

Love is like a dying ember
And only memories remain
And through the ages I'll remember
Blue eyes crying in the rain

Some day when we meet up yonder
We'll stroll hand in hand again
In a land that knows no parting
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Sleep in peace now Page.Till we meet again..

Goodbye dad. I will miss you. My kids will miss you.

You and Nancy were wonderful grandparents and I'm sad little William won't know you as you'd also be a wonderful great-grandfather. We were so fortunate you got to see him just days before you passed. As Anjelika said, there's no coincidences, we got to spend time with you for a reason.

I am also sad you never got to visit Panama as I know you really wanted to.

Love you dad.
