Papa Tagni Theidou Tangang Francois was born around 1944 in Bazou (West Cameroon). He became part of the large ASECNA ( Agence pour la securite et la Navigation Aerienne en Afrique et a Madagascar) family on September 1st 1962 in Douala as Administrative Adjunct of Civil Aviation.

 
After several training sessions, he was transferred to the airfield in Ngaoundere as the Chief of the SSIS Team ( Service pour la Securite Incendie et Sauvetage) trasnlated in English as Service of Security, fire, Hazard and Rescue).

He later worked in different city airports of the country to include Bafoussam, Koutaba, Yaounde,  Nsimalen where his reputation as a brilliant "fire officer" helped him earn the role of Team Manager of the SSIS.
 
He later finished his career in the aerodrome in Bamenda as Team Leader of SSIS where he exercised his right to retire on December 31, 2004 under the Subcontracting ASECNA / ADC.
 
During his long and distinguished career of 42 years of loyal service to ASECNA Cameroon, Mr. François Tangang assumed with effectiveness all of his duties.

He leaves behind a wife, children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends, siblings and many loved ones.
