My Nanie was all about keeping family together, through holidays, birthdays, anniversarys, sickness and in health. She was a fantastic cook, and wonderful person. She and I shared so many good times together, but most importantly a bond that will never be broken, even in death. She loved to cook, and had huge Christmas Eve parties with our whole family together. Unfortunately, cancer claimed her fate, and I lost the one person I could always count on. She took care of me when my dad left us, so my mother could work and support us. She always had a smile or something nice to say to everyone. She enjoyed needle point, cooking, working her butt off, and never complaining about any of it. Her spirit was full of positive energy, and she lit up a room with her laughter and smile.
