His Life

 Pastor Kamar Adenrele Opeifa was born on October 1, 1959 in Lagos Nigeria to the family Chief Adeyinka Opeifa and Alhaja Sikirat Opeifa.  He grew up as a loved and cherished son and brother among his twenty one brothers and sisters.  He attended Government Demonstration Primary School in Suru-Lere, Lagos, Nigeria.  He later attended and graduated from Victory High School in Anthony, Lagos, Nigeria.  Pastor Kamar also attended Ahmadiya High School for his A-level diploma. 

After passing his A-level exam, Pastor Kamar moved to the United States to attend University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  He later moved to Atlanta Georgia where he enlisted in the US Army.  During his service period he was posted to Virginia Beach, Utica, New York among other places.  It was in Atlanta the he met and Married his first wife, Glenda Opeifa.  After service, he used his service experience to work and as Instrumentation Technician servicing helicopters, radar devices and electronic for military contractors.

Pastor Kamar moved to Chicago where he grew strong in the Lord and started fellowshipping and dedicated his life to God’s work.  He was later ordained a Pastor in the CAC church.  Pastor Kamar stayed in Chicago with his three children and it was from Chicago that he started pasturing the Lord’s sheep at the Grace Gospel Center in Milwaukee.  In Milwaukee, he met and married Foluke Opeifa to raise a family with seven children.

Kamar loved and dedicated himself to serving the Lord, his church and community.  Pastor Kamar is survived by wife,  his children Nikki Opeifa, Donna Opeifa, Brian Opeifa,  his children by marriage, Tobi , Kitian, Timi, Koju, his parents, and his twenty brothers and sisters.
