This time of year is when so many more memories come back... your birthday ...and Christmas... the markets we go to and seeing all the things you like.

Happy Birthday Pat :) Sadly you have been gone 2 years but I sure hope your celebrating your day up there xo

Gone too soon.. It's been a year... I will miss receiving a Christmas card from you... you always had me in your thoughts...

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly, and pray the Lord your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss, and call you back for just one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would tape each word and action, and play them back throughout my days.
If I knew it would be the last time, I would spare an extra minute or two,
To stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming you know I do.

So, just in case tomorrow never comes, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you, and I hope we never will forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

So, if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss,
And you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear,

Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "thank you" or "it's okay".

Andrea, the lose of a Mother is very difficult, they mean so many special things to us in so many ways. I have very fond memories of Pat from my childhood at Grandma and Grandpas in Orangeville and at my parents home in Brampton. Condolences to you and your family. XO

My heart breaks as I read about the passing of Pat. When I first met Pat, I was a little girl barely out of diapers. She was a beautiful lady then as she was growing up. She had the most beautiful smile and witty senses of humor. I have wonderful memories that I will always keep close to my heart. I pray Pats family will find peace knowing she is with god and at peace. My heart goes out to her family but specially to my life long dear friend Andrea....my thoughts are with you at this time xoxo

There will be a graveside burial at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St on Thursday Dec. 12 at 11am with a wake to follow at my place at 3pm.

Our kindest thoughts and prayers go out to ALL of Pats family left behind.
We are Praying Andrea, Candice, Vince, Jake and Gracey find comfort from all of the family and friends whos lives were touched by there Mother/ Grandmothers kindness and love.
As we all grieve our loss of Pat, God gains a beautiful Angel both inside and out.

Andrea, my thoughts are with you and my memories of your Mother are very dear - I remember when she came to our house in Richmond Hill, Ontario, so many years ago, I was young then and I just remember liking her so very much and I've never forgotten the impression she left on me. She was a wonderful lady.
