Patricia Forbes.... Pat.... [nee Logan] was born to Frank and Mary Logan, formerly of 86 Brompton Park Belfast N.Ireland ,along with her twin brother Dan.

she came from a large family Jean [deceased] Madge, Frank,Gemma,Lilia,Rita ,Tommy [deceased] and Bernard.

Pat left the convent school and went to work in the mills.In 1966 she met Patsy Forbes they were married in Holy Cross Chapel Ardoyne Belfast on 11th December 1967

  Pat and Patsy lived at 101 Brompton Park. where they raised their four children Michael, Liam, Mary and Lisa.

In 1971 Pat joined the Order of Malta, where she served the Ardoyne coummunity [during the troubles] and administrated first aid when and where needed, saving many lives.

In 1979 she was on duty when Pope John Paul II visited Ireland.and she was awarded the Papal medal from the Pope for her services. She climbed the ranks in the Order of Malta to become an officer.

Pat also helped set up and run the Gate way club for disabled children and ran christmas parties for them every year, she also worked as a dinner lady in Holy Cross Boys' school and at lunch time she would play football with the kids they nicknamed her Pat Jennings [a football player] .

Pat was pleased when her grandchildren came along ten in total.....Michael,Kyle, Patricia, Toni-Marie, Daniel,Joseph,Kelsey-Leigh,Shannon,Enya, Caolan and two great grand daughters Madison and Mia-Rose.......she also has two sons in law Marty Mailey and Ross Hayes.

Pat was at her happiest when she was in her garden, sometimes working in it till late at night she was delighted when she won best kept garden.

In 1988 she was diagnosed with breast cancer she fought and beat it,.then in 1997 sne was diagnosed with Alzheimers which took its toll on her over the years.

She had been in a few nursing homes but for the last five months she was at home with family and it was here that she lost her battle with this cruel illness

   Pat died peacefully on the26th December2011 she will be loved and remembered always and forever by her husband Patsy children Michael,Liam, Mary and Lisa and grand children and great grandaughters
