Love you,

Welcome to the memorial page of Patricia Witzlib. This memorial was started as a way to notify her loved ones of her passing. A year later, it is now a memorial to her! Over the course of the last year, our family has gone to this site occasionally to remember our wife, mother, and sister. We have been amazed by the number of friends who have also done the same as the views of her memorial page continue to rise. Patricia was very loved! We hope this page continues to bring you comfort and makes you smile when you want to remember Pat. We encourage as you visit to please leave any memories or pictures you have of her. Mom did specifically say for her celebration “And I don’t want any damn picture slide show!” I listened Mom, but you never said anything about your memorial page. Here’s to you Mom!
Patricia M. Witzlib (Smith) of Rubicon, WI was called to heaven on September 24, 2013. Her spirit departed in the presence of her loved ones as they held her hands. She passed peacefully. Patricia was born in Menomonee Falls, WI and was 60 years of age. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and best friend, husband David Witzlib. Also survived by her beloved children Crystal Witzlib and Daniel Witzlib. Patricia is also survived by sister Helen Halvorsen (Dan) as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother Mary Smith, father Clayton Smith, and brothers Clayton and Daniel Smith.
The Witzlib Family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful, kind staff at Angel’s Grace Hospice that helped during Patricia’s final days. Patricia, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and his mother Mary, had private services with her immediate family.
A reception to Celebrate the Life of Patricia was held Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Radisson in Menomonee Falls, WI. It was Pat’s wish to have a celebration by gathering her friends and family to remember her. Over 200 of Pat’s family and friends gathered to celebrate her life. In true Pat fashion, she planned much of this party prior to her passing and even said, “This sounds like a fun party, I’m sad I’ll miss it!” Fond memories of Pat were shared as we celebrated her life while listening to her favorite songs and enjoying her favorite foods and beverages. Pat you were very missed!
We love and will forever remember you Mom!
