those were the days my friend
Patrick f. Gavin , Junior High school..........Delorous Andrewski with her painted on eyebrows, white gym blouse with a black bra underneath.....this was the sixties , delorous was very scary and chased me around the school trying to beat me up..I was a skinny kid and didn't weigh much (at the time) I ran around and found Patti in the cafeteria sitting with Rosemary Downey and a few other friends and told her Delorous was trying to beat me up....well, Patti got her good in the gym and told her to never bother her cousin again.....it was funny to see Delorous with all of her long finger nails broken among other things....Patti always had my back...she was the female Whitey.......growing up on silver street our whole life I don' remember not knowing patti....in the summer we would go to howard Johnsons with our Mother's and get ice cream cones, sitting in the back seat then drive to the combat zone , park and watch all of the weirdo's and you know what.....the other stories I can't write about because we were older and very silly.....but , What a childhod we had living on our dear Silver Street.... I love you Patti, not sure if you are silly #1 or #2, guess we are tie on that one. xoxoxo
