Born in Fresno in 1953 to Bruce and Marge Richards.
Raised in Salt Lake City, Graduating from Granger High School.
Active in Scouting acheving the rank of Eagle Scout.
Was a priest in the LDS church. 
Moved  to California in 1971 .
Worked with several law firms in the San Francisco Bay area.
Joined the Marines and served over 6  years achieving the rank of sergeant.
In the Marines he served over seas in Japan, and  as a Marine recruiter in Atlanta and Oklahoma.
He loved his trips to Hawaii and Las Vegas. And especially his movies. 
 
 He is survived by his loving wife Julie and daughter Jackie  of San Francisco . Brother John of Salt Lake City and his big brother William Richards of Tulare, CA. Plus many cousins , nephews and nieces. 
 We miss you Pat and you will always be in our hearts.
