shawn was born on march 14th of 1965 ,the son of arnold t and bonnie e huffaker gilpin, he was the baby of the family and they spoiled him, shawn was a wonderful man he has a son that lives in south dakota his name is justin meyers,shawn was a gatehauler he started out at the age of 14 up until the last years of his life.shawn would always try to help people and always would give you something when he left your house, me it was rocks or feathers, wasnt much but it meant the world to me. on 0ct.31,2011 he was found dead in a field across the road from where he lived, died of a heart attack, i will always hate halloween  because of his death. all i can say is i loved him like my own and i tried to take care of him after our parents passed, but he had a longing inside of him that couldnt be filled. i miss shawn so much and he is never out of my mind.
