This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Patti Fleger. We will remember her forever.


With profound sadness we announce Patti's passing on December 13, 2014.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Brett and Shaun, their father Bob Fleger, parents; Tom and Lillian Panylyk, brother Brian (Theresa), niece Jaclyn and nephew Matthew Panylyk, and many other aunts, cousins, friends and teaching colleagues.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fathers Jaya Rayan and Julian Bilyj on Friday December 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, (210 Haddow Close S.W., Edmonton). Following lunch, interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Misericordia ICU or Mustard Seed.

Words can not express the sadness that our entire family feels with the loss of such an incredible and inspiring lady. We had the honour of Patti teaching all four of our children and each one had a special and unique relationship with "Mrs. Fleger". Over the years, Patti became a very good friend and we enjoyed many great chats, teaching moments, parenting moments and a lot of laughter and "wisdom" was shared. Patti was such a kind and gentle soul and her love for children and ability to really listen to their little voices and hearts, made her the "teacher everyone wanted to have!" I will cherish the memories of our last trip to Phoenix together, forever. The shopping was fun but the pool side chats were the best! We will miss you Patti. xoxo Joanne

Patti Fleger taught both our children in Grade One at St. Monica. I was always impressed by her unflappable spirit and deep respect for the budding learners we entrusted to her care. I also had the pleasure of teaching her son Shawn, a caring gentle young man. Our family is devastated by the loss of such a strong, beautiful human being! Shawn and Brett, your mother will always hold a special place in our hearts.❤️
