His Life

Good Times

December 23, 2013

Paul and I met at a Boarding Kennels where I worked. He was such a hard worker, and it took him about 6 months to win me over. We moved from Camberley and went to work at a boarding kennels in Kent. From there we moved to Chinnor Oxfordshire and spent about a year at another boarding kennels, when the owner decided she wanted her house back we had to find another house and work. It was then we decided to work for ourselves as Groomers. Paul was amazing, took to it straight away, and was terrific at bathing and drying the dogs. We both had a deep love of animals in particular dogs, and our own family of furry friends kept growing. We have seen a lot come and go, and grieved for the losses together. Paul was a super partner, insisting on doing more than his fair share of household chores, because of his height (6' 8") he could reach things most others couldnt, something now I miss. He was very particular about certain things being done well, for example, keeping the grass neat and tidy involved him trimming the edges with a pair of scissors, and our car was cleaned inside and out every week, I miss all these things so much. Paul and I spent nearly 14 years together, and I will treasure every single day. Thank you darling for being such a special part of my life XXXX
