Paul remains alive in the hearts of those who love him.
Paul Francis Wirzburger, Jr., 55 of Lowell, MA and formerly of Sudbury, MA, died in his sleep on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Paul was the beloved son of Rita (Wirzburger) Seymour, nee Brine, of Sarasota, Florida. He was predeceased by his brother John Wirzburger and his father Paul Wirzburger Sr. He is survived by his daughter Vanessa Harwell of Marlborough, MA and his grandsons Jason and Jared.
Paul is also survived by brothers Mark Wirzburger of Newburyport, MA, and Matthew Wirzburger of Amesbury, MA, and his nieces Tasha Rita and Nayfita and nephew Mateo; as well as his aunts Marie O'Connor of Duxbury, MA; Peggy Howland of Plymouth, MA, and an uncle Bert Brine, Jr. of Mansfield Center, CT, and many cousins.
Growing up in Sudbury, Paul excelled in baseball and he also loved other sports such as football and boxing. He later served for three years in the U.S. Navy. Currently, he was a communicant of St. Rita's Church in Lowell, MA and a friend of Bill W. Following his namesake St. Francis, Paul loved animals and served the poor, donating his time helping the homeless in shelters. His friends especially remember Paul's outgoing nature, fun sense of humor and especially his "big heart".
Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1 PM, at the Old Town Cemetery on Concord Road, Sudbury, located behind the First Parish Church in Sudbury Center. Family and friends will gather after the service at the Acapulco Family Restaurant & Cantina located at 694 Boston Post Road in Sudbury, MA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fowler Kennedy Funeral Home, Concord Road in Maynard MA.
