6Paul Frederick Steele, 72 years old, passed away at home in Zephryhills, Florida, on 11 January 2016, after a brief battle with cancer. He was the first of 6 children born to Raymond Hughes and Ruth Leona (nee McGraw) Steele at Cottonwood Point, Missouri, on 30 July 1943.
He graduated from Middletown High School in 1961. He was a talented man with a quick wit and a strong zest for life. He was married 4 times; Sherry Kay Vogelsang, Michelle Ann Adams, Julie Marie Watson and Patricia Ellen Gaylord.
He leaves behind his current wife, Patricia (nee Gaylord) Kaspi; brother, Jon Steele; sister, Elizabeth (nee Steele) Craig; sons: Robert Eric, Paul Thomas, Jeremiah Watson, Andrew Watson; a daughter, Stephanie Michelle (nee Steele) Croomer, several step-children, granchildren, nephews and nieces.
A small celebration of life was conducted on Sunday, 31 January 2016, at Wood Dale MHP from 1 pm - 2 pm. Paul's body was donated to Science Care for Cancer Research with his cremains to be received by his wife at a later date for final disposition.
The family requests any contributions should be directed to charities like Hospice, American Cancer Society, local fire departments, etc., in honor of the people who helped tirelessly during Paul's trial with bone cancer.
