Paul Junior Balmer , 54, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at his home.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late Paul Howard and Neta Vaughan Balmer. He was a member of Tungsten Mine Baptist Church and was a mechanic by trade.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 18th 2013 at 11:00 AM at Tungsten Mine Baptist Church by Rev. Sam Brewer. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Cristy B. King of Bullock and Alisha B. Perkinson of Henderson, two sons, Shawn Balmer of Vass, Shane Balmer of Oxford , three sisters, Janet B. Allen of Henderson, Mary B. Bentley of Oxford, Elizabeth B. Bullock of Butner, three brothers ,Johnnie Balmer of Oxford, Richard Balmer of Henderson, and Donald Balmer of Four Oaks, three granddaughters and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma B. Miles, Pauline B. Newby and a brother James Balmer.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2013 prior to the funeral services at Tungsten Mine Baptist Church and at other times at the home.
Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting the Balmer family.
