His Life
October 7, 2015

If you only knew him as a young man - the rabble-rousing youngest of twelve siblings - you might be surprised to learn that later in life he wore a suit and tie to work, couldn't make it through his day without his cup of coffee, and, after tending to his property for hours would finish his evenings working crossword puzzles at home with his beloved family. If you knew him only as the quiet, dedicated family man of his later years, you might be surprised to learn he once went sky diving, camped out for weeks alone in the mountains, and delighted in stirring up trouble with his siblings, cousins, and friends. But all who knew him will certainly remember him for his kindness, sense of humor, and love of the outdoors. Paul was born September 26, 1942, in Everett, Wash. to James and Margaret Keefe. He passed away on September 2, 2015, with his cherished family by his side. Paul leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Brenda; children, Jennifer (Derek), Justin (Elena), and Danielle (Mike); grandsons, Taylor and Jackson; brothers, Neil (Marilyn), Lloyd, Daniel (Shirley); sister, Virginia and sister-in-law, Charlotte; a large extended family including dozens of nieces and nephews; and his treasured home in Lake Stevens, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret; sisters, Margaret, Jean (Art), Patricia (Jim), Diane, and sister-in-law, Martha; brothers, James (Marcella), Ralph, and Allen; and more pets than he would ever admit to missing. He recently celebrated a 50 year anniversary at Acrowood Corporation where he worked most of his life, like his father and grandfather before him.
