Pauline Marie Jean (Morin) Rees, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away at the age of 78 on Wednesday August 8, 2012 in Sunnyvale, California.

Pauline was born on September 21, 1933 to parents Joseph and Marie Alma Morin becoming older sister to Leo in Fall River Massachusetts.  She was baptized on October 8, 1933 at St. Matthews Church in Fall River.  She grew up and attended Durfee highs school in Fall River.  

On April 5, 1952 Pauline was wed to Donald William Rees, from this union she had 4 children, Rodney Joseph, Ronald William, Patricia Margaret and Sandra Marie.

Pauline was employed for 45 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant finishing her career at Casa Olga Intermediate Care Facility in Palo Alto.  Pauline also fondly known as ‘Moms’  through the years enjoyed ice skating, roller coasters, fill in puzzles, her collection of magnets, light houses and antique spoons.  Moms also loved the classic music genre of Coltrane, Armstrong, Lombardo, Benet and Dorsey to name a few.  Pauline was also an avid New England Patriot fan when in 2002 after many bleak years, was able to celebrate super bowl victory for her team.  Pauline was also a faithful fan of the Boston Red Sox.

To find Pauline at her happiest were the times she spent with her family and friends.  Throughout her lifetime she maintained a rich family tradition of Thanksgiving and Christmas as a time for gathering.  She started this tradition with her own children, and has extended it through 3 generations.

Pauline (Moms) leaves to rejoice in her memory brother Leo (Alice) Morin, son Rodney, son Ron (Regina), daughter Pat, daughter Sandra.   Grandchildren:  Anita Rees, Tanisha (Thomas) Torres, Rodney (Alisa) Rees, Shanelle (Troy)Morgan, Michael (Lindsey) Beasley, Raymond and Jonathan Johnson,  Stephen & Jacqueline Rees, Sabrina Hedgecock, Todae Charles, Rondell Harris and Edwin (Judy) Craig,  ‘Adoptive’ daughters, Debbie (Parker) Kinslow and Isabel (Segura) Souza.  Great-grandchildren:  Alex Higgins, Tyler, Teyo, Trevor & Travis Torres, Teagan & Quinn Rees Victoria & Kristina Rees, and Olivia Beasley. Nephew John (Ann Marie) Morin and Niece Michelle (Jake) Topolewski and a host of  dear friends.
