Pedro E. Palomarez, 79, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Fort Bayard Medical Center. He was born January 18, 1937 in Paul Spur, AZ to Candelario Palomarez Sr. and Amparo Echerivel. He is survived by one son, David Palomarez and wife LouAnn of Santa Clara; one daughter, Consuelo Chacon Cook and husband Carl of Silver City; his significant other Josie Elizalde of Deming; nine grandchildren, Rocky Chacon III, Venus Aragon and companion Amanda, April Chacon, David Palomarez Jr. and companion Maribel, Christopher Palomarez and companion Marci, Betty Anaya and husband Lorenzo Jr., Erica Zamora and husband Armando, Adrianna Escobar and husband Raul Jr., and Pedro Luis Palomarez III; nine great-grandchildren, Rocky Chacon IV, Audrey Chacon, David Palomarez III, Summer Rain Palomarez, Lorenzo Anaya III, Caleb Palomarez, Michael Palomarez, Raul Escobar III and Andrea Escobar; four brothers, Manuel Palomarez of Bayard; Lazaro Palomarez and companion Amelia of Deming; Victor Palomarez and wife Anita of Vanadium; Jose Palomarez and wife Argelia of Deming; four sisters, Maria Banda of Silver City; Angie Gallegos of Silver City; Olga Gonzales and husband Rudy of Safford, AZ; Betty Rubio of Dallas, TX; a daughter-in-law, Magdalena Palomarez. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Cecilia, his son, Pete Jr., two brothers, Tony and Candelario Jr. A Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, March 1 at 1pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with family officiating.
