Penny Lou Ellen Lauster, 67, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
A native of Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Luther Allen Addison and Jacqueline Medlin. She was a member of New Horizons Baptist Church and was a manager of environmental services at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham for over 25 years.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 2:00 at New Horizons Baptist Church by Reverend Cam Ford. Burial will be at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.
Surviving are three sons, Phil Walters (Christy) of Oxford, Michael Walters (Mary Beth) of Greenville, SC, Wayne Lauster of Shalotte, a sister, Carla Rose (Jimmy) of Creedmoor, a brother, Jody Addison of Durham, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands William Walters and David Lauster, a sister, Karen Ziegler and a brother, Linwood Addison.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 12:30-1:45 in the sanctuary of New Horizons Baptist Church and other times at the home.

I grew up with Penny, we have been friends all of our life's. She was always a shiney Penny to me and then turned into a golden Penny that match her heart and soul. Now you are with all your love ones who went before you. I know that Nanny, Jackie, and Sue where happy to get you into their arms. So see you later my shiney Penny.
