"Condolences are inadequate at the passing of a loved one, especially when it is unexpected. Nevertheless, please accept those of my family's to Lt. Colonel Perry Foo's and friends. We hope that you will find solace in a lifetime of rich memories."
"Perry was my senior at school; he had a grey patch at 14, you couldn't miss him. Plus he was always "cool", always even-tempered, never ruffled feathers, which we juniors appreciated. That carried over into the Army, and then to Vets. Service. I saw him last June in NY and barely exchanged a few words over 7 days; a regrettable state after 50 yrs. We must find time to talk to each other."
