His Life

A Glimpse of his Short Life

January 1, 2014

The third of 5 children born to Elizabeth and Jean Neptune, Peter was the glue to making gadgets and devices work in and out of the house. He was always looking for new things to take apart, recreate, and put into a better working order. His strength and knowledge were endless even though he wasn't the best at doing his school work. He attended Gorman School in Gorman, California from grades K through 8 where he made many lifelong friends.
He then went to school at Frazier Mountain High School in Frazier Park, California. He did great work in Art including small sculptures, and digital creations using Paint. He also made new friends quickly and kept up his exercise and weight lifting daily. I can't remember too many details of his elementary or high school years. Maybe you visitors can help me with that by adding some stories or memories. He graduated high school in 1998? He started working with the U.S. Forest Service in Frazier Park where he was a tree climber.
He eventually moved to Bakersfield with some friends and attended classes at a community college. His life at home was filled with carving and constructing homemade wind mills, installing solar panels, largescale gardening, fence constructing, heavy-duty lifting and weeding, building small sheds/animal houses, training pet dogs, doing favors and odd-jobs for neighbors and family friends, playing and beating us at boardgames, and playing video games on his X-Box and Nintendo 64 (He played Grand Theft Auto and Odd world almost if not all the way through).
In the end, at age 23, he resided in Valencia, California with friends and worked on computers with his uncle at Reunion.com in Los Angeles. While he lived at home with us, his parents and siblings, he enjoyed watching Andromeda, Spongebob, Stargate, Mythbusters, and the Twilight Zone which were a few of his favorites. His favorite music included an array of genres and artists including techno, pop, hip hop, rock, alternative, and some classical. He loved to make and eat spicy quesadillas, homemade ice cream, the hottest peppers, juiced veggies and fruits, the most sour candies, and homemade pizza.
