Pfc. William Victor Norder, United States Army, 20, Lincoln, died Thursday, June 9, 2011, in a tragic car accident, in Lincoln while on leave from a one-year deployment to Iraq. Born May 21, 1991, in Lincoln to Lynn (Vannoy) Heileman and Kevin Norder. After graduating from Lincoln Northeast High School in 2009, Will attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After a year, he signed up to "see some action" with the infantry, which he saw as the most important job in the Army. After basic training, he was stationed at Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas and was deployed to Iraq with the 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Teams, 1st Calvary Division. Will had a love for life and lived it with joy, love, and adventure. He could be stubborn at times, but always approached others with good intentions and an open, generous heart. Will was a devoted son and brother and was a role model for his friends.

He will be missed by his mother, Lynn Heileman; father, Brian Heileman; sister, Dayle Heileman; grandparents, William and Jean Vannoy and Doris (Norder) and Orville Klein; many aunts and uncles and a large extended family, including many friends known as "the Fam."
