I know you can't see this, but Mom I really miss you, and will always love you. I can't say you were the best mom ever, but the fact that you tried to be for me and my siblings, made you amazing. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I miss your laugh and the way you would make me laugh. I miss staying up and watching movies with you. I miss eating your famous blueberry muffins and your mac n cheese, and I can't forget your Rotel Dip!!! I miss those days when I was in elementary school, and you would make sure I was the flyest kid in class. I miss all the Christmas Holidays we spent together. I just miss waking up everyday and telling you that I love you and being soooooo happy to see you. I wish you were here to see how much i've grown and how well I'm doing. Atleast you're pain free now. I love you alot!!

How it breaks my heart that six young children lost their mother at such a young age. Death is not fair. As a result Jehovah God has promised to "swallow up death forever." (Isaiah 25:8) Until then he will help all those who are distressed because of losing someone in death. (Psalms 46:1) How we all long for the time when our loved ones will be brought back in the resurrection. Acts 24:15

To all of Portia's family: I am truely sorry for your loss. I pray God gives you all strength, comfort, and peace in your hearts. Portia will truely be missed by many.
