I had a dream with you, me and PeddaAmma.  We were all together in India having our lunch together.  The dream was so real that I felt that I was right there with you.  I remember asking you which curry you had and which one you liked.

Wish you were here so I can give you a call an tell you about my new job.  You could of stayed with me at my house and I would be there taking care of you. I see your picture everyday in my room.  When I wear your makeup, where your Venkateshwara necklace, I feel you are in me. 

You and Appa are at peace together.  I can picture both of you happy together sitting on top of a cloud and looking down on me everyday.   

We had the anniversary ceremony for Amma at the Lotus Temple in Fairfax.  It was family only, small.  I can't believe it is a year already.  She is in Heaven, the priest told me that.

Wonder what Amma is thinking about.  

This picture needs a frame.  It is us three women who care for each other so deeply that anyone of us would leave the earth, the rest of us will be devastated.

I was thinking of Amma because her ceremony will be coming soon.  I miss her so much.  Wish she was here so I can talk to her about my work, the things I did on the weekend, our trips and family back home in India.

Amma looks so happy there.  They are all laugh about some really funny!  Love to see Amma smile all the time.  She makes me smile when I see her laugh.  I know she is doing well.

Amma and me at Sedona together!  We had a great time together!!!!  Amma was tired but she still had the strength to go all the way to Sedona.  

 

This picture is so cute!  It was just Amma and Me together.  "Mother and Daughter"  I will cherish that moment in the picture so much!  She is best MOM in the world, better than ANY MOM!!

This is Amma and Me at Vittal Kakka's house.  I had a great time with my Uncle and and my mother.  It was like home.  You know, I did not even want to go back to USA.  Just stay at my uncle's place with my mother.  It was my best trip to India.

This was in Mysore, INDIA in 2008.  Amma, Uncle, PinnAmma, Satharam Uncle and me all went to see the nice Golden Palace.  It was a really a very pretty night.  The weather was perfect.  We all enjoyed ourselves.  I was so happy to go on the trip with Amma to India.  

That was my last trip with my mother.  There will not be any more trips like this.  I miss my Indian Culture so bad.  It is not the same without her.  She use to tell me all the poojas, holidays, and festivals.

It was very nice at Old Town.  Sangeeta, Amma and me really enjoyed it alot. Amma wanted go outside and get some air.  I know Amma likes to walk around and look at the scenery.  Look at her SMILE!  Even fighting CANCER, she loves to SMILE.!!

You know, I do not where she gets her strength.  I just love to look at her beautiful smile.  Feels like she is look straight at me!  

Love you MOM forever and ever until the DAY I DIE!!!   I will see you in HEAVEN!

Mom enjoyed the trip to Keywest.  We went to the aquairum and so many nice fish. It was a learning experience and we loved.  I was so happy that Amma could relax.

Amma had a pooja done in the Venkateshwara temple in Phoenix.  Sangeeta, me and Scott came for it.  It was really nice.  That was the last time, she went to a pooja. I was happy that she wanted to do it.  I really was hoping to GOD that Amma's health would be better.  Such a strong woman, nothing stopped her.  Love you Amma!  I look at your pictures all the time!

That is Amma, me and Sangeeta.  The "Three Amigos" in Keywest after my wedding.  I was so happy to see Amma there.  She walked everywhere with me.  I remember her saying "There is So much Greenery here"  She loved all the flowers there.  It was absolutely beautiful.  I wish those days come back again!    Whenever I look at this picture, I think of how strong all these THREE WOMEN ARE!!!

This is Amma's beautiful picture.  She took this picture in Westlake, Ohio when I was just in Junior High.

She still has this sari.  I loved her in it.  She looks so beautiful like a model. 

Mom got a nice Cup for Christmas.  Sangeeta gave it to her for Christmas!  She needed a new cup anyway!  Look at her, she looks so happy!

This was my wedding day.  My mother looked so lovely in her sari.  I know that she was happy for me. I was really happy that she came for the wedding.  I remember she said that she did not want to miss even though she had to see her doctor first.It was the first time she has been to Keywest and she loved the flowers and the trees.  Mom, I know you are watching me all the time.  Everyday, I see your picture I can just feel that you are watching me and listening my conversation with Scott. Love you So much!

She really liked Scott the first time she met him.  They both have so much in common.  Scott would ask her on how to cook indian food and my mother would always give him suggestions on cooking.

Of course Scott would always help her out by taking her to the park and to the temple.   

Amma going on a boat trip.  Amma and Uncle took a trip to Costa Rica.  She loved to travel.I believe it was her last trip.  

Amma took me and Sangeeta to the Venkateshwara temple.  She wanted to do a pooja ceremony for Health and Prosperity.  I was hoping to GOD that her health would get better after doing the pooja.

Mom and me at the Beach getting our feet wet.  It was really fun.  Loved it so much. The water was in the 60's but we enjoyed every moment there.  Amma was laughing and smiling.  Matter fact, she even wanted to buy a home there near the beach.

My mom is so happy to see Sangeeta and me.  We always visited her for Christmas.  I will never forget all the holidays I went to see my mother.  Instead of going to Europe, I would go to Arizona to see her.

She will be forever missed, especially during Christmas!  Miss you mom!

This was Sangeeta's first birthday!  It was a really nice party in Fiji.  So many people came to the party.  My friends from 2nd grade came and we took a lot of pictures.  I was really young but I remember when everbody was singing "Happy Birthday" to Sangeeta and she did not even know what was going on.  

Mom arranged the whole party herself. Amma was so sociable that she knew practically all the Indians there.

This was just last year in October.  Did Amma do a lot of walking, more than me and everybody.  Even with her CANCER, she can walk so much.  I think she is bionic woman.  Never thought this will ever happen to her.

Amma wanted to have a pooja with Kiran.  It is for good health and properity.  We all went for the pooja.  She lived a long life with all the traveling.

Look at Amma.   She was so happy to see me get married.  It was when she was in remission from her CANCER.  She was so strong that she walked everywhere in Keywest.  

I can tell that she really enjoyed every moment of it.  It was the first time she has been to Keywest and loved the trees and flowers.

Will miss going on all the trips with her. 

Everybody went to Sedona, AZ.  It was amazing.  We took a lot of pictures and saw the mountains.  This was Scott's first trip to see Amma.

I loved this trip so much.  Amma and me spent two weeks together and I will never forget it.  I remember her calling me one day on my cell and asking me if I wanted to go.

I just packed my bags and took a flight straight to Denver airport.  I will never miss a chance to spend time with her.

We saw, Mount Rushmore, Wyoming, Salt Lake City, Bear Country in Montana and Devil's Rock.  Enjoyed every moment with her!  It was the best trip of my life!

I remember this day when Scott came to Chandler, AZ for the first time.  Amma, Scott, me and Uncle went out to eat for lunch.  She said "I have 4 Daughters"  Usha, Sandya, Sangeeta and Harita"

Amma wanted to go to the beach last year.  We went to Rahobeth Beach in Delaware.  Amma and I went to the different stores and played in the water.  It was in October last year.  We all had fun.  

She just wanted to get away from the city.  Miss her dearly.   

I remember the weekend when my husband and I took her to Pittsburg, PA.  There is a Venkateshwara Temple there.  It is the first temple built in the east coast.  That is what my mother told me.  That was her favorite temple.  She always prayed to Lord Venkateshwara.

She told me, "I get goose bumps whenever I see Lord Venkateshwara Swami"
