My father,
My friend,
My Pastor and Priest,
My Angel,
My First love,
God-fearing, God-loving, God-fearing, Godly, humble, generous, loving, intelligent, handsome... One who gave all his talents and resources to His Maker.
Your dance steps
Your baritone voice
Your firmness and down-to-earth nature
It's beautiful to know that your passage was not an accident. You were HIS child and servant so nothing could have happened to you without HIS knowledge.
If I had the chance to choose a father in the "next world"... I'll choose you again a trillion times over. I love you dearly.

Baba Akorede, as we fondly called him, was a father, firm and forthright. God positioned him and he did not fail to deliver. His wise counsels, his songs and the passion with which he did his job and preached the word of God always endeared him to me. His life was exemplary and enviable. Sleep on, dear father. Sweet is your sleep.

Pa akorede you will forever be missed I am grateful to God for making me know you in my life time I remember how you shared your newspaper with me every morning in your office as the provost even when you are not around you granted me a free entry to read the paper every morning.i remember when you pulled me out of the church and said if I dnt dance everyone will remain standing i was so embarrassed I had to dance by force you bring yourself down to a toddler's level very humble and friendly In retrospect it never a dull moment when you are around adieu papa continue to rest in the bossom of your maker and may God comfort your family Amen.
