I am very saddened by this sudden encounter.. Prudence was a very dear friend, co-worker, buddy, sister. I'm lost for words at this moment. Prudence called me days before she left to Maryland for Christmas. She was very happy that she was going to be with her grand baby and her children. After the holidays, I called her and left her a message and not hearing from her, I became a little concern but didn't think anything of it cause she would eventually call me. Weeks went by and months, I said maybe she went home to Africa. Tonight I'm sitting in my living 6/4/14 and she came to my mind again. I said to my grand daughter, "I haven't yet heard from my friend Prudence, I hope she is okay." My granddaughter said to me, google her...I gave her the name and she said, "nana she passed!" I was in instant shock mode. I read the memorial and I was numb and last for words. My friend is gone and I didn't get to say good bye. I want to extend my deepest condolences to Prudence Children, and her extended family. She was an Angel and was very loving and caring. We went to New York on shopping sprees. We laughed and shared each other's pain and problems. I will miss her dearly. I Love You Prudence and May God Bless your Soul. MISS YOU MUCH.. Rainey.

Prudence was one of the most amazing people that I knew. Her spirit filled the room and impacted everyone who she touched. After she and I left CommCorp,we stayed in touch and spoke-got together periodically. I am just heart broken that I will no longer be able to hear her voice and her great laugh. I would very much like to host a Boston-based memorial to honor Prudence and her family.
