Mum started off her life in Lochgilphead and when she was old enough she joined the army and that when she met a handsome chap called chalky!! Mum and dad were married and had two beautiful children a boy and a girl. Dad served several years in the army so they travelled around a lot... To name a few there was Harrogate, Germany, York and dads last tour before his retirement was in SHAPE in Belgium. Mum and dad settled in woodnewton a small village outside Peterborough. Mum was diagnosed with breast-cancer and spent 3 years bravely fighting it with dad by her side and looking after her every step of the way. She became very poorly only a week before we lost her, she fought so bravely and with so much courage and I will never be able to describe what a loss we feel now she is not with us. X x x
