The last timeI got to see grandpa Gene was in March shortly after Travis was born and before we moved back to Fl. We had dinner over at my Grandma Shirley's house and Me and Shannon were able to introduce Our newborns to Grandma Reba and Grandpa Gene. Although the dimensia had already taken over, he absolutely loved the babies and he truly seemed happy that night. He kept saying, "man I can't believe that you guys are my family, your too good lookin!" Grandpa always made everyone laugh because he was so funny. Even though I knew he was very sick, it still came as a shock to me when I got that phone call saying he passed away. He was just one of those people that has always been in my life and it still feels unreal that he is gone. I am going to miss the whole family gathering at Grandma and Grandpas house for Christmas or New Years, it definitely will not be the same.
