|God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference|
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Ralph James Fuhrman, 81, born on February 10, 1931 and passed away on October 6, 2012. We will remember him forever.
"It's been 4 years since you've been gone. I still miss our daily talks and your stories from yesteryear.
My old man and me, were at the bar having us some beers
Talking politics, fishing, and red-head chicks
Discussing old dogs and new tricks and the old habits we ain't kicked
We talked about every girl we knew and all we had put 'em through
How he enjoyed his time in AZ and in the end all you need to know is..
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.."
"Happy Father's Day! You were missed."
"Happy Birthday Dad! Sorry about the Seahawks ;-("
"Hard to believe it's already been 2 years since you left us. Still missing you and our weekly chats. Hope the fish are biting and there are no silly limits up their. :-)"
"Happy Father's Day! You would have enjoyed the weekend with us. I know you were watching and smiling. I miss you."
"I love you, Grandpa. Don't forget to wear green."
"Happy 83rd. Wish I could have wished you it in person."
"Happy Birthday Grandpa! I wish I got to call you to sing you happy birthday like Erin and I would always do. Hope you're having a good day. We all miss you a lot. I love you (:"
"Dad, I know you are watching the Super Bowl from on high. Wish we were able to chat about the game as it happened. Feel free to trip Welker, deflect Manning's passes, and open up holes for Marshawn. Go Seahawks!!"
"Well another Christmas has come and gone and you are missed by so many. Your ceramic Christmas tree found a new spot in our living room and is a pleasant reminder of all the great Christmas days that we had when I was growing up, coming to visit for dinner, and bringing Liz over for the first time, and of course bringing my girls to see their grandpa and all the ceramic displays. Love you and miss you very much."
"Merry Christmas Grandpa! Hope you had a lovely steak dinner. Mom tried to pull off steak for dad and Erin but kinda messed that one up. Anyways, hope you're good. We missed you today. Love you <3"
"This is a beautiful memorial site Ralph. You are truly missed. I long for the day we meet again. Thank you for all you did for us kids while we were young. I wish I would have been more respectful of your caring at the time. Just as these tributes reflect, you were and still are very special."
"Another thanksgiving has come and gone. New traditions were started and old ones remembered. While your physical appearance was missed your presence was felt all around and the memories of you flowed freely. I give thanks that you were here for as long as you were and continue to be present everyday in our minds and hearts."
"Grandpa! It's been a year, really doesn't seem like it but we all miss you so much. Dad especially. I'm a junior this year in high school, doing well so far :) Hope the fish were biting today. I love you a lot, it was good to see you today."
"They say that, time heals all wounds. Apparently, one year is not even close to a start. I miss you very much."
"Just can't believe its already been a year. We missed you so much at the lake, things just seemed different. Hank will have to carry on for us as we have packed it in and decided to see the country next year. We miss and think of you often. May God watch over your family."
Lance and I had a great time on our road trip. Now when we think of Yosemite, we think of you. When we think of Sedona, we think of you. When we think of Moab, we think of you. You seriously have some of the nicest views on earth. I hope you're enjoying....xoxo"
"Well I promised you a road trip this spring and I hope you enjoy the views Liz and I picked for you in Yosemite, Sedona, Arches, and Canyon DeChelly. Just like a FUHRMANATOR, I'll be back!
You are forever in our thoughts and in our hearts."
"Just sitting here thinking that, I wish we could have our semi-daily afterwork conversations again. I really miss those alot. Sometimes I forget that I can't just give you a call anymore and then it hits me :-( . Well we will just have to catch up when I see you again. Love you and miss you Dad."
"First race of the NASCAR season. Will miss our calls cheering for our boy Kasey Kahne. You are forever in our hearts. Pam"
"Happy Birthday Grandpa! We went and saw you today! I purchased a big obnoxious balloon for you! No one can beat that; even Aine's 16 inch trout she caught. We also went to Claim Jumper and Dad ordered the infamous Fish n Chips! I love and miss you Grandpa! <3"
"Happy Birthday Grandpa! We went to visit you today, hope you enjoyed the balloons :) We went to eat at Claim Jumpers too, dad had your usual Fish n' Chips. I miss you a lot and love you a lot too <3 Have any of the fish up there beat my 16 inch trout? Hope you're all good. Love you and hope you had a great birthday :)"
"Happy 82nd Birthday Dad! We stopped by and dropped off some balloons. Of course no birthday tradition would be the same without going to Claim Jumpers. So, of course we all went there and I ordered up your favorite Fish-n-Chips meal. Pretty tasty I must say. No wonder you enjoyed it so much. We all love and miss you more than can be expressed in text."
"Happy Birthday Ralph! The lake won't be the same without you! You will be forever in our hearts. James and Pam"

"I met Ralph and Mary in 2003 when my son was dating ther wonderful grandaughter, Angie. We are blessed to have her now in our family. We are forever grateful to the loving part he played in raising Angie. She is an exquisite woman, wonderful wife, loving mother, and beloved daughter-in-law! Thank you Ralph for loving Angie! We will miss you."
"Ralph was a true friend. He took me under his wing and shared his knowledge of many things, including trolling Mineral Lake with his killer flies. He had so many stories to tell, they always kept me entertained even if I'd heard them before. Ralph we will miss you so much including your singing talents. (Cool Cool Water) Life won't be the same without you. Goodbye Old Friend"
