His Legacy

January 25, 2012

Ralph Joseph Arias I was born in Chino, California on March 12, 1920. Ralph grew up in Orange County, California until he joined the United States Army during World War II.  At the end of the war Ralph was stationed at Fort Sill Army Base just outside Lawton, Oklahoma where he met his beautiful wife of 70 years, Rose Dorothy [Garcia] Arias.  Together they moved with two of their daughters (Dolores and Margaret) to Buena Park, California where they had two more children (Ralph II and Carmen) to temporarily complete their family of six.  Ralph worked as a truck driver after leaving the service and eventually built his own trucking company. Ralph and Rose both worked while they raised their children into adulthood.  As their children grew into adulthood, Ralph and his wife Rose continued to be extremely active in their children's lives and the lives of their grandchildren.  Ralph remained in Buena Park, California with his wife and helped to raise his and care for his family after retirement. On January 23, 2012, at the age of 91 years old and after 70 years of marriage to his wife Rose; Ralph left this world to be free of pain and illness.  Behind him Ralph left his loving wife, three of his four children [Dolores d.2007, Margaret, Ralph Jr.,Carmen] along with thirty-three grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren among many more friends and family members.  Ralph will forever be loved and missed. His family will carry him in their hearts for the remainder of their lives.

We will all love you and miss you forever Wilito/Gramps! <3
