"To our loving Nanna,

It has been four years since you passed away which remained to us as a blurry memory and we still feel you are with us. Though we miss you physically, your memories make us strong every single day. There are not enough words to describe how important you are to us and what a powerful influence you have been throughout our lives. Your life will always be a vivid one, the epitome of greatness and caring nature with so much love for us.

We love you so much and you will always be special to us no matter whose love gives us happiness and wherever our life takes us.

We miss you, Nanna.

                                      Love,
                                               -Vinny and Vijju"

"To our loving Nanna,

Although you are not here with us today, we want to tell you how much we are thinking of you on your birthday.

Nanna, you were gentle and strong, and the best person we both know. When we think about all the good times, we see how much of a perfect dad you were.

You filled us with affection, love, courage, and hope to get us through each day.

We love you, Nanna. Happy birthday.

                                                    Love,
                                                        Vinny and Vijju"

"Our dad was very special. He gave us life, taught us, cared for us, fought for us, shouted at us, hugged us, and danced with us, but most importantly, he loved us unconditionally.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing and important our father is to us, and what a powerful influence he continues to be.

On this Father's Day, we commemorate our dad for guiding us and inspiring us to be our best. We are honored to have such a loving person as our dad. We love you, Nanna... Happy Father's Day.

"Nanna,

You held our hands and guided us when we were young. You caught us when we fell. You're the hero of our childhood, and of our later years as well.

Everytime we think of you, our hearts still fill with pride. And though we will always miss you, we know you are by our side.

In laughter and in sorrow, in sunshine and through rain, we know you are watching over us, until we meet again.

Three years have passed since our Nanna's death, and we still miss him dearly. We love you Nanna....

"It takes someone special to be a dad. We thought of you today. That is not new. We thought of you yesterday, every day before that too. We think of you in silence. We speak your name, Nanna.

All we have are your memories and pictures in our hearts. Your memory is a keepsake from which we'll never part.

Happy Birthday Nanna...

Love,
Vinny and Vijju"

"There is nothing that can replace the absence of someone dear to us. One must simply hold out and endure it. At first that sounds very hard, but at the same time it is also a great comfort. As long as the emptiness remains unfilled, one remains connected to the other person. It is wrong to say that God fills the emptiness. God does not fill it. Instead he leaves it unfilled, helping us to preserve, even in pain, the authentic relationship.

Also, the more beautiful the remembrances, the more difficult the separation. But gratitude transforms the torment of memory into joy. One bears what was lovely in the past not as a thorn but as a precious gift deep within, a hidden treasure of which one can always be certain. The best way to remember someone who has passed away is to carry on the wishes, aspirations, dreams, and heart of that person. They live forever in the mind, spirit, and inspirational actions when one magnifies the power of love and makes the world a better place.

We miss our Nanna very much… Today, on his birthday, we hope that he remembers that we love him dearly… Happy Birthday to the best Nanna in the world <3

"Two years have passed so quickly, and it still feels like our dad just went to a conference. It feels like he could walk in the house with a grin on his face and just pull us all in for a hug. We love and miss him so much...

"If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever.

Happy Birthday to the best Nanna we could ever ask for... We love you so much...

"Grief is like the ocean;
it comes in waves,
ebbing and flowing.
Sometimes the water is
calm, and sometimes it
is overwhelming. All we
can do is learn to swim.

""Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear..."

I still feel that my dad is with us. He promised me that he will  be with us, guide and take me to places.  -Vijitha"

"We love our dad so much... Today is his birthday, and we are missing him so much. No one can even compare to the type of person he was. A loving dad, helpful friend, overall the best personality I have ever met in my life.
